The weekend is here - and it feels great! Even though it's only Thursday, myself and several other people who have what my sister once called "a real job" have tomorrow off. What's even greater is that I got off work at 1 PM today. So what am I doing with my time? Let's start a new paragraph.
After work I washed some dishes and did some general tinkering around. Wait, that's not exciting. What's exciting are the plans I have for this evening. I'm driving back to my new house, which I so far haven't really been living in, and I'm going to spend my first night there. Big news stuff, am I right? What's more is I'm going to do my laundry there. Why? Because I can. Duh.
So I'm really looking forward to this. I'm doing a little bit more moving of random junk I've got lying around my room in the house I'm renting. I think I'm going to pick up a pair of rabbit ears to pull in local channels at the new place (no cable or internet there yet) and I'm taking over a shall book shelf/case to set my bedroom tv on. Because you need a bedroom tv.
And then I might have a movie night but go shopping beforehand so I actually have food in the house. That way I can eat something when I wake up. That would be nice.

ReplyDeleteIt was so enjoyable that I decided to stay there the entire weekend. And besides my phone, I had no internet, so it was kind of like a throwback to living at my parents' house in the 90's.
